CHEC 2011 - Davil Hazell - My Father's World
The Coastal Home Educator's Conference is so excited and proud to announce our Keynote Speaker for CHEC 2011, David Hazell of My Father's World!
David has been involved in homeschooling since 1987. During several of those years he was a stay-at-home dad directly responsible for educating his children. For eight years, David and his family lived in Russia where he served in Bible translation in Siberia and helped coordinate Bible translations in 80 languages.
His six children often ministered with him as he traveled throughout Russia and Europe. David and his wife Marie now devote the majority of their time to the development of My Father’s World (http://www.mfwbooks.com/) curriculum with the dual goal of providing support for Bible translation and raising up generations of families that see the world through God’s eyes and live according to that knowledge.
Featuring nationally known speakers such as Lou Priolo, Mark Hamby and Dr. Jeff Myers, CHEC is a small, non-profit conference that seeks to encourage, equip and promote homeschooling in the coastal areas of South Carolina and Georgia.
We are child friendly and welcome you to bring your little ones. Please be considerate to the other attendees and keep them with you and well-behaved. There is no charge for anyone under 18.
We are also offering the 4th annual BOOK Blast - used curriculum sale. This is the largest book sale in our area.
